今回車を購入するにあたりハイブリッド車 にするかガソリン車にするかの選択に悩んだので、私の独断と偏見での意見をまとめてみた。全く細かいデータを取ったりもしていないのでこの考え方が間違っているかも知れませんので、そうゆう考え方もあるんだな~程度に受け取って頂ければと思います。
私は１２年前にエスティマハイブリッドを購入し現在約２０万キロを走行したことに成り、その経験で次に購入するする車はさてどうするか。結論からすると、ガソリン車にしハイブリッドはやめました。
では何故１２年前はハイブリッドを購入したかというと、まだハイブリッドが発売されて間がなく、補助金を申請すると結構な金額をもらえ、当時結構な距離を乗り車を乗りつぶす考えで長く乗るから燃費がいい方が計算すると断然得ということで購入。それ以外にハイブリッドがまだ普及していないのでハイブリッドを乗る＝環境に配慮したと言う考えもあったので。更に私は目新しい物好きだからこんな変わった車を乗ることがなんか楽しそうだったというのも理由の一つです。
そして１２年間ハイブリッド車を大事に乗ってさてどうだったかと考える。
■ハイブリッド車はガソリン車に比べ余分なモーターや充電バッテリーが乗っているため車体総重量があるので燃費はよくてもタイヤに相当な荷重がかかり摩耗がガソリン車に比べて速い。タイヤ交換頻度が多くなり予定外の出費。総重量が重い車という事は、道路への悪影響を及ぼしやすい。
■大きなバッテリーが耐久性の問題で一度交換。純正品は高額だったので互換品で乗せ換えをしたのですがこれも予定外の出費。
■ややこしい機構のためエラーが発生してウンともスンとも動かないことが２度あった。いつもお世話になっている修理工場の人では手に負えずディーラーに来てもらいコンピューターにつなげないと故障の原因が分からなかった。これが自宅で起こったのでよかったですが旅先でこんなことが起きたらJAFにも対処してもらえないだろうにと怖くなりました。
■後部座席のシートの下の部分に大きなバッテリーを設置しているのでガソリン車に比べ収納スペースが少ない。
■１２年も経っているとハイブリッド車は珍しい車ではなくなり、昔のようなわくわく感がなくなってしまった。
■ハイブリッドは環境にいいようなイメージでいたのですが、これを作るためにはガソリン車に比べてレアメタルを沢山使っていると聞いたことがある。（未確認なので本当かどうかは不明です。）
逆にハイブリッドだからいい部分も沢山あるのは確かです。環境の事と燃費や修理交換費用、消耗品などに掛かるトータルコストで考えると実際安い買い物ではなかったのかも？と疑問な所がありました。
１２年前のハイブリッド車だから今買うと問題部分は改善されているかとは思うのですが、燃費だけを注目すると電気自動車の方が格段にいいのですが、選択肢も少なく乗りたいデザインの車がないので今回の選択肢からは外れてしまいました。
これからハイブリッドに乗りたいけどという方で、販売店の方がいい面ばかり勧めてくるかとは思いますがこういった面もあるという事も踏まえて検討して頂ければと思います。
